DESCRIPTION:
A-A-C is classified as a specialty coating designed
specifically for application to soiled/damaged
ceilings. When A-A-C is applied in accordance with
recommended procedures, results are as follows:
- One-Coat Application 300 Square feet per
gallon coverage
- Improves acoustical qualities of tile
- No sticking of tiles to grid systems
- Non-yellowing surface color
- No warping or other physical damage to tiles.
- Grids and t-bars coated simultaneously
TEMPERATURE
A-A-C should not be allowed to freeze. For best results,
A-A-C should be stored and applied at room temperature; i.e.,
not lower than 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
SAFETY NOTES
All personnel in the immediate work area must wear
protective goggles and dust masks.

ACOUSTICAL EFFECTS
When properly applied, the application of A-A-C to the
surface of an acoustical ceiling
tile will not diminish the sound absorbing
characteristics of the tile. Test Results are
available upon request from the manufacturer.
FIRE RATING
Surface Burning Test (E-84-88) results to Class A rating
(0-25 flame spread) when applied to nominal 0.6 inch thick by
2 x 4 ft. ceiling tile perforated & fissured.
